HRC Announces Membership Program

HRC was founded in 2005 by small group of sports car and vintage racing enthusiasts who believed the Elkhart Lake Historic Race Circuits should be preserved and protected for the enjoyment of current and future generations. After an extended struggle with the Sheboygan County Highway Department, HRC prevailed and the circuits were recorded on the National Register of Historic Places.

Recording on the National Register affords a degree of protection for the circuits but long term preservation requires an ongoing proactive program with resources commensurate to the task. Events of the past year make it clear that continued preservation of the historic circuits is likely to exceed HRC’s current resources.

Since HRC’s inception, many like minded enthusiasts have expressed an interest in supporting the preservation effort and participation in HRC sponsored activities. To that end, HRC announces the formation of an expanded membership organization open to anyone who shares our dedication to historic preservation and enthusiasm for racing history or the simple joy of owning and driving sports cars.

You are cordially invited to become a member of the…
